Wisconsin Public Television is a member supported station located in Vilas Communications Hall on the UW-Madison campus. More than 1.3 million viewers annually tune in to watch exciting and inspirational programs profiling arts and culture, science and nature, history and current events, and documentaries. Some of our most respected programs include Nature, Nova, Antiques Roadshow, PBS Newshour and Downton Abbey!

Membership Drives: Talk on the phone with viewers interested in making a contribution to the station. Fundraising drives are held in March, May, August and December. Refreshments, snacks and a free meal are included! Click here for more information.
Quilt Expo: If you love to quilt or appreciate the art of quilting this is the perfect event for you! Quilt Expo takes place at the Alliant Energy Center in September and features lectures, workshops, a magnificent quilt exhibit, and a vendor mall. Volunteers receive free admission and parking. Garden Expo: Looking for ways to rejuvenate your garden or spruce up your landscaping? Spend a day or more at Garden Expo held at the Alliant Energy Center in February. Auction: Auction is the perfect opportunity to experience the fun and excitement of live television! Use your skills and talents to help WPT auction off more than 4,000 items on-air. Both on-camera and behind the scenes jobs assignments are available.
