Socialize while supporting your community: consider volunteering with Habitat for Humanity!
Habitat for Humanity of Dane County has lots of ways you can get involved, whether you are interested in volunteering one time or on a committed basis we have an opportunity for you!
- Volunteer for a day on a Habitat construction site! Habitat provides all the tools, safety equipment and supervision that you will need. There is no building experience necessary. You can sign up online here.
- Consider joining HYP our Habitat Young Professionals Group. HYP has monthly social events, group build days, along with fundraising and committee work. You can learn more about joining HYP here.
- Are you keen on being green? Consider volunteering at the Habitat ReStore our new and used building material store that raises money to build Habitat homes and keeps thousands of tons of reusable material out of the landfill! Habitat ReStore volunteer opportunities are typically on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, a commitment of about four hours. You can learn all about volunteer opportunities at the Habitat ReStore here: http://restoredane.org/volunteers.
